Application Requirements
We believe that in order to be a successful student at SUNY Plattsburgh, you must also have been a good student in your home country. Admission is based on your previous academic achievement, including:

Admission Criteria
First Year Students:

85+/100 (3.0+/4.0) high school average

SAT/ACT: Optional (encouraged in order to demonstrate academic merit)
English Proficiency
Unrestricted enrollment into degree program:

TOEFL 76+

IELTS 6.5+

Duolingo 105
Requirements for enrollment through the English Bridge Program:

TOEFL: 57+

IELTS: 5.5+

SUNY Plattsburgh also accepts other tests of English proficiency.
How to Apply:
Apply for fall or spring admission using either the SUNY Plattsburgh International Undergraduate Application or the Common Applicaton.
A completed application is necessary prior to consideration. This includes a completed application form, the application fee, and all required academic and financial documents.
When to Apply:
